Player Registration page now up!
Anyone who would like to play for the Fort Frances Lakers next season is urged to go to the "Player Registration" page and fill out the form there. Make sure you fill in all the fields and submit your information for the coaching staff to contact you. The tradition started this year and will continue to grow for our great hockey community, which includes the entire Rainy River District.
The Laker's would like to thank all who supported our Best Ball Scramble at Heron Lake Landing on Saturday May 8th. It was a fun event and the organizers were pleased with the turnout and success of this event at such an early time in the season. The Laker's would really like to thank those that participated and all of our volunteers and the great staff at Heron Lake Landing.
The Laker's will be hosting another scramble at Heron Lake Landing on Saturday July 10th, 2010. Registration details will be posted soon!!!! Please help make this event even bigger and better than the first. Again the Fort Frances Lakers thank everyone for their continued support.

Another exciting season of Fort Frances Laker hockey is only a few months awat! Season tickets are available now for the spring sale price of just $175!!! Save big bucks, and you get to support your locally-operated SIJHL hockey team! To purchase a season ticket, contact any member of the Fort Frances Lakers' Board. As well, the coaching staff is recruitiung players for the 2010-2011 season. The Fort Frances Lakers are preparing for the coming season, and after last year's playoff run, things are looking great for our second season in the SIJHL! In the coming months, we will be seeking volunteers to work at games in various positions, but right now you can help lend a little financial support. 400 Club tickets are on sale now and are just $50 each. That ticket will get you a chance to win $300 which is drawn for at every home Laker game. For tickets, contact Kathi at 274-0952 or 275-9235. There is also an early bird draw and Christmas draw, so the chances of winning are great! Check out the 400 Club Page and see who's already on board!
